Resource Networks in Western MA

Local resource networks are a great place to share events and information that are not typically on 413Cares. Learn more and how to connect with them below.

  • Franklin County Resource Network (FCRN)

    FCRN is a 700+ group of community organizations and members in Franklin County. Networking meetings share information, deeper discussion about big issues, and presentations from local organizations about services that they offer. Members can also email the FCRN email list at any time to ask questions or share information. 


    • Who: Anyone who lives or works in Franklin County 
    • When: First and third Thursdays of every month from 10 am-12:00 pm via Zoom 
    • How to get involved: Contact Dane Kuttler (DKuttler@communityaction.us) for more information and to be registered to attend meetings. 
  • Hampden County Resource Network (HCRN)

    HCRN brings together community organizations serving Hampden County residents. Networking meetings are an opportunity to share updates, news, and events, and promote services that are open to the community.  


    • Who: Community organizations serving Hampden County  
    • When: Third Thursday of every month from 10-11:30 am via Zoom. 
    • How to get involved: Contact Brenda Evans (bdevans@umass.edu) for more information and to attend network meetings. 
  • Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative (HSNI)

    HSNI was developed by the Hampden County Sheriff's Department, in partnership with the community, with a goal to create safe, healthy & economically viable neighborhoods in Holyoke. HSNI Networking Meetings provide a space to share information, community efforts, and events. 


    • Who: Anyone who lives or works in Greater Holyoke 
    • When: Second Thursday of every month from 1-2 pm via Zoom.  
    • How to get involved: Contact Ed Cassie (ed.cassie@sdh.state.ma.us) for more information and to be registered to attend the meetings. 
  • COSA Hampshire County

    COSA serves as a resource and network for human service providers in Hampshire County. Monthly network meetings allow organizations to share information and stay connected.  


    • Who: Nonprofits serving Hampshire County 
    • When: Second Tuesday of every month from September through May via Zoom 
    • How to get involved: Sign up to attend and receive information. Contact cosahc@gmail.com to learn more. 
  • Northern Berkshire Community Coalition (nbCC)

    nbCC  supports northern Berkshire communities by connecting our neighbors with available resources, facilitating community dialogue on important local issues, providing prevention strategies, building stronger neighborhoods, promoting positive youth and leadership development, assisting with access to and opportunity for healthy choices. nbCC resources includes: 


    • An annual Resource Guide that outlines local resources including food access sites, disability services, family services, housing, transportation, substance use support, youth services, and many more.  
    • A weekly e-Zine full of public announcements, events, resources, and other information useful to local agencies and the general community.
    • Regularly programmed parent education workshops, youth leadership programs, community events and monthly public forums.

  • Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires

    The Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires (NPC) serves as a clearinghouse for information and resources, and supports nonprofit leaders by providing affordable opportunities for nonprofits to connect, learn, and grow. The NPC offers professional development, networking, referrals, advocacy, and communication vehicles to help the sector thrive. 


    • Who: Organizations or businesses with an interest in the nonprofit sector in Berkshire County 
    • How to get involved: Check out their website to learn more and to become a member. 
  • Human Service Forum (HSF)

    HSF is a network of human service members that supports public service and nonprofit leaders, so they have the tools, connections, and resources to excel in their roles, in service to their communities. They have various membership levels that can be explored to better serve individuals. 


    • Who: Human Service providers and non-profits
