413Cares was created for the Western MA community to use to better find and connect to free and low-cost services in the region. It is completely free for organizations and individuals to use. 413Cares is powered by findhelp, a nationwide social care network, that has provided the technological backbone infrastructure where the services are listed. Think of 413Cares as one of many doorways into the findhelp network.
How can 413Cares benefit organizations?
413Cares securely connects organizations with individuals in need. Users begin by entering their zip code and can then search by the type of service or support needed. Organizations can customize their program information to showcase the services and key information, and notify users how to connect with the program. Having your services listed and updated helps people find the support they need. Organizations also have a number of free tools that are available on the platform, such as accepting and tracking referrals, and creating screening forms.
