Everyone 18 years and younger can access FREE no-cost meals at sites throughout western MA. Find a site near you and check with your local school department about the Summer Eats menus and locations.

The Food Assistance Navigation Program connects community members to needed food and other community services.
**SNAP Update: Governor Healey approved 3 months of state funded SNAP benefits to help families transition from the end of the federal COVID relief funds. Payments will be distributed on April 7, May 2, and June 2. Learn more. SNAP recipients may be able to increase their normal SNAP benefit award and can find out more at the Food Bank of Western MA.

Find out if you are eligible and get help enrolling by contacting the Food Bank. Or call 413-992-6204 to speak with one of their coordinators. Find other SNAP enrollment sites. You can also apply directly for SNAP on DTA's website.

Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC)
WIC provides pregnancy, nutrition, and breastfeeding support.

HIP provides extra SNAP money for local produce. Depending on your family size, you can get an additional $40-80 per month through HIP. Learn more about HIP on DTA's website. Follow these instructions on how to use HIP at local locations.
